Chairman and Vice Chairman of Indian Soft Hockey Federation
IG Sandeep Chauhan becomes chairman of Amateur Soft Hockey Federation, league will start from 7th November
Rajasthan's Inspector General of Police Sandeep Chauhan has been made the chairman of Amateur Soft Hockey Federation of India. Along with this, Geetanjali Institute Bangalore's director Devendra Kumar Kalal has been made the vice chairman. Federation's general secretary Ramesh Singh gave this information here on Friday. Sandeep Chauhan is also the chairman of the country's first soft hockey league organizing committee. This league will be played from 7th to 10th November at Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur.
Sandeep Chauhan said that in the first phase of the league, 8 teams will participate in the boys' category and 4 teams in the girls' category. He told that in this franchise based league, teams will be formed on the basis of trials this time, which will be organized in Jaipur on 28th and 29th September.
